Rural Family Childcare

Assist the local communities in educating and feeding children from the poorest families.

What we do

GMOA, with the help of a local partner, has established a number of centres in small rural villages in South India.

Our Family Childcare Centres assist the local communities in educating and feeding children from the poorest families. The children attend the local government schools, which are often overcrowded.

What our centres provide

Nurturing Holistic Growth

Physical, educational and spiritual nourishment through nutritious feeding, tutoring from qualified teachers and spiritual input every morning, as well as after school on school days.

Practical Assistance

School uniforms, books and clothing, along with practical assistance and counselling for the neediest families.

Annual Medical Check-Ups

Medical check-ups are carried out annually. These include general health, dental and eye testing, and skin clinic, with follow-up treatment.

Together We Can Provide Quality Education

Diploma and college scholarships are awarded by GMOA to those year 10 and 12 graduates who show potential and desire to undertake further study and training. This provides the students with an opportunity to escape the poverty cycle.
