Rural Family Childcare Centres

  • GMOA, with the help of a local partner, has established a number of centres in small rural villages in the state of Tamil Nadu, Southern India.

  • Our Family Childcare Centres assist the local communities in educating and feeding children from the poorest families.

  • The children attend the local government schools, which are often overcrowded.
  • Our Centres provide  physical, educational and spiritual nourishment through nutritious feeding, tutoring from qualified teachers and spiritual input every morning, as well as  after school on school days.
  • GMOA provides each child with school uniforms, books and clothing, along with practical assistance and counselling for the neediest families.
  • Medical check-ups are carried out annually. These include general health, dental and eye testing, and skin clinic, with follow-up treatment.
